The knowledge we seek is often closer to home

Standard

It can be very easy to assume that to access the knowledge we need means we have to search far and wide for it. In some cases, if the information that we require is very specialised, hunting out experts may be essential. However, in the majority of cases this knowledge is right on our door step.

Take some time, right now, to think about the skills and experience that your friends and especially your relatives possess. Do they work in sales? Do they understand how to build good relationships? Are they expert multi-taskers? Whatever the skills you seek, first look closer to home and you may be surprised by how much knowledge you have possibly over-looked in the past.
