The goals that change your life 2

Standard

In some ways, it is a more subtle process than simply achieving or not achieving the goals that you set.

I recently undertook the 3 Peak challenge – this is where you set out to climb the tallest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24hours (Yes, England really does have something that constitutes being called a mountain!). I soon realised that the value of the challenge was not whether we achieved this in the time set, but was actually the experience itself.

The person who sets a goal and then begins the journey toward its achievement is already a success, whether they attain it or not.

  1. Fair comment.

On another note, I can actually see you sitting on that mountain, crossed legged, saying that last sentence. Well not exactly sitting; kind of hovering.
